Alyssa Ives

Alyssa is a registered psychologist who is known for her warm, caring, and approachable style, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to feel understood and comfortable.

Alyssa completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Queensland (UQ) and her Master of Professional Psychology at Griffith University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of presentations. She has a strong interest in comprehensive assessment, particularly ADHD and Autism. She takes a strengths-based approach to understanding each individual’s needs.
Alyssa also works alongside Coco, her therapy dog, who attends the clinic two days per week. Coco provides emotional support and engages children in playful, therapeutic activities to support connection, comfort, and engagement within sessions.
